Hawaii is one of our favourite places to travel - and this year's trip to Honolulu only made us fall in love with this idyllic island paradise even more.
Rugged and wild, yet at the same time luxurious, Honolulu has something for everyone. When you're not poolside, or lazing on one of the island's stunning beaches, there are endless nature reserves to explore, amazing restaurants to sample and many warm conversations to be had with friendly locals.
The island's underlying surf culture and buzzing outdoor lifestyle create a relaxed attitude towards style amongst locals and tourists alike. With some great stockists across Hawaii, we're loving seeing more and more Artesano hats on the heads of those enjoying the island life.
So what are our hottest Hawaii tips?
The Rebecca Beach concept store can be found nestled within the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki. With an eclectic collection of must-have resort-wear, the boutique has a great edit of perfect brands for the beach, including our Resort 2017 collection of Toquilla straw Panama hats. http://www.rebeccabeach.com/
We're big fans of The Modern Honolulu - a resort that strikes the perfect balance between international luxury and contemporary Hawaiian charm. With separate pools for sunrise and sunset, as well as a range of great bars and restaurants, The Modern makes the perfect island base. http://www.
It's a big call, but we're going to say it. Our favourite poke in Hawaii (ok, make that the world!) has to be found at Mahina & Sun's inside the Surfjack Hotel. Choose from a’u (marlin) limu poke or spicy ahipalaha (white tuna) poke, served with avocado, pickled mushroom, sesame kale, nori, inamona, crispy onion over hapa rice or organic lettuce. Aloha indeed... http://surfjack.com/
